The color above my address bar seems to have changed color to a grey - is this normal?
I clicked on a PDF this afternoon and instantly got a screen message and talking message that my computer was infected and sending bank details etc to China and to call a number to go to Microsoft who would walk me through how to fix it. The microsoft error message was - DW6VB36
I did not do it but ran malware removal and virus removal scans. Windows defender had already detected it and removed it and nothing was found on my laptop but since then the area above the address bar in firefox looks different. Cant remember the color but it is now grey and I'm sure it wasnt before.
Can anyone help with the situation please as I'm concerned that it was affected whatever was on my pc. I removed and reinstalled firefox but it is still grey.
Hope you can help.

hi, the color is grey by default in firefox on windows 10 - did you use a theme before and have refreshed firefox while trying to resolve the malware issue? if so, you'd have to reinstall any customizations you had before: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/themes/
