The menus in the latest Firefox are tiny and hard to read. How do I increase them? I would think that it should be easy to do this!

Chosen solution

This Theme Font and Size Changer worked once I found where it was located on the menu bar. Thanks

You can look at this extension to adjust the font size in the user interface.

You can set a global zoom via the Options/Preferences of the extension (about:addons or the Tools menu) that modifies layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. Modifying layout.css.devPixelsPerPx affects user interface and web pages (global zoom). You can use an extension to correct the appearance of web pages.

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint Plus extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Hi RogerInAA, do you mean the top part of the browser -- File, Edit, View, etc. -- or do you mean the right-click context menus for various places, or do you mean the menus in websites (the area below Firefox's toolbars)?

Problems on Websites

I recommend trying the Zoom feature first. You can use the menu control that looks like:

- | 100% | +

or the keyboard:

  • to enlarge, hold down Ctrl and tap the + key
  • to reduce, hold down Ctrl and tap the - key
  • to reset to 100%, hold down Ctrl and tap 0 (that's a zero)

Does that help?

I am talking about the menus at the top part of the Browser. I saw the Zoom feature but it only applies to content within the Browser window and that is not what I want to change
