XMarks 4.3.19 Hangs/Crashes Firefox 50.1

I have long used XMarks, since before it was bought by LastPass. Recently, however, I have found that it repeatedly and unavoidably crashes/hangs Firefox. I am using XMarks v. 4.3.19 (the latest version) and Firefox v. 50.1 (the latest version); all this is running via Windows 10. I have had to disable the add-on. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, have they found a solution?
