I can send mail on this account and send and receive e-mails on the other 4 accounts. Can anyone help explain why I can not receive e-mail in this account. From what i read in the community mail, others have reported this problem with Yahoo mail. Here is the error message I get in Thunderbird: "Sending of password for user fmr@nl.rogers.com did not succeed. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: internal server error (#OCF013)"

Chosen solution

Rogers doesn't support Thunderbird.

That isn't the point. The error message is from their server, so they have to deal with it, regardless of which client software is used to access the server.

You should talk to Rogers/Yahoo.

Rogers doesn't support Thunderbird. Yahoo doesn't seem to support anything out of the ordinary.

It took Rogers 2 weeks to correct the problem and it took me almost a week to get to a technician who took me seriously. When he could not log into my account on the Outlook pop server but could on the imap server, he finally realized it was a problem Rogers owned. Setting up a separate imap account in Thunderbird also worked on my computer. Thank you Christ1, I guess I need to learn to be more assertive. Mike
