Youtube won't load videos
Hi
As of today the youtube in this version of firefox (44.0.2) stopped loading the videos. I've searched some solutions here, tried to clear the cache, use the forget this site option, reboot the computer but nothing worked. What worked was either refreshing the page through ctrl+f5 or shit+left click on the refresh icon. Refreshing the page by simply clicking the icon won't work and the videos won't load leading to the "an error occurred".
Looking at the console it seems to be a problem regarding the CORS header, as it says --
Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://redirector.googlevideo.com/videoplayback?expire=1481946395&itag=140&sparams=clen%2Cdur%2Cei%2Cgir%2Cid%2Cinitcwndbps%2Cip%2Cipbits%2Citag%2Ckeepalive%2Clmt%2Cmime%2Cmm%2Cmn%2Cms%2Cmv%2Cpl%2Crequiressl%2Csource%2Cupn%2Cexpire&source=youtube&keepalive=yes&mime=audio%2Fmp4&clen=14286763&lmt=1458198726717230&ms=au&mt=1481924544&mv=m&dur=899.494&mm=31&mn=sn-8vq54vox2u-apne&gir=yes&id=o-AEhs5yn9lflJTDwhsA1yKe3CUjfVnYaTLlunS5YSCHqj&ei=u2BUWPKuNfSbigbE7J-gDg&upn=e1cmHDM_7vo&ipbits=0&ip=(edited)&key=yt6&requiressl=yes&signature=B2475BDF774FD4A444A5B571D9519FC1E4F73C09.1A9F349AD22C5704E0EDBF2F2518AC3E323DC0D5&pl=17&initcwndbps=2803750&alr=yes&ratebypass=yes&cpn=P5Zikq-jP_Y_meYS&c=WEB&cver=1.20161215&cmo=pf=1&range=0-65535&rn=24&playerretry=9&rbuf=0. (Reason: CORS header 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' missing).
but i'm not sure how to fix this.
Besides reinstalling firefox, is there a solution?

Hi
I strongly recommend that you update your copy of Firefox to make sure that you have the latest security and stability fixes, as well as new features. You can read more about how to update here.
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
Helpful Reply
As you know, updating will do nothing in this case. Besides my other older version of firefox has no problem loading the videos.
