xpinstall.signature.required to false but firefox is still blocking the plugin pentadactyl to be installed
Hello everybody, I' trying to install the plugin pentadactyl (for ref: http://5digits.org/nightlies) but Firefox keeps blocking it because it's not signed. In about:config the variable xpinstall.signatures.required is set to False, what else am I missing?
Thank you very much

addon signing is enforced in firefox release builds since version 48 - the mentioned preference is no longer in use: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Addons/Extension_Signing
if you want to run unsigned addons, please use firefox developer edition instead: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Developer_Edition

hi, try to use signed versions - https://github.com/willsALMANJ/pentadactyl-signed/releases
This helped me with this specific plugin but I don' understand why Firefox is blocking plugin installation if the variable is set to false...
