I keep getting this urgent message that looks like it's from Mozilla stating I elected to apply this patch. I quickly close the tab, it will randomly reappear within a few days. Sometimes it's a red full screen, sometimes a smaller rectangle. It did it again tonight, so I copied the link: https://akotajamestimothywhite.org/2102914856185/a591b5e358f2ab7b3c25b76d149c963c/71d5edf2063ef11b416145049ecb9154.html

It's obviously not from Mozilla, I haven't and won't click on it. Is anyone else receiving these and how can I stop these messages from showing up?

Yes, it's a fake. These malware-pushing phishing pages are loaded through ad networks used on popular sites. Unfortunately, the addresses change so often that Firefox's built-in malware and phishing protection can't keep up. If you do not currently use an extension to block unwanted ads, you might consider that, for example:
