This is going to be a bit difficult to explain, or for you to test.

I am a member of AOPA and get their digital magazine, which is available at nxtbook.com.

When I was running Firefox 42 (and previous versions), once I'm logged into the site and at the current month's magazine, I would click on the download button and it would take me to a page where I could download several different versions of the magazine. It still works this way in Chrome and Internet Explorer.

I recently jumped from FF42 to the current, FF 49.0. NOW when I click the download button, instead of taking me to the download page as before, it simply comes up with the FF download window to save the PDF file. (Just one of 3 formats offered, and not the one I want.)

What do I need to do to get this to work properly again? Do I once again have to return to FF 42? I've had stupid little problems with Firefox ever since version 43.

Chosen solution

I'll leave this here just in case someone else runs into this, but the solution turned out to be rather easy.

Reinstall Adobe Flash.

I don't know how it got uninstalled in the first place. Maybe when I jumped from FF42 to FF49.
