When I click "ignore all" in the spellchecker window, it will still check all the misspelled words.

When I click "ignore all" in the spellchecker window, it will still check all the misspelled words.

Chosen solution

"Ignore all" means ignore all repeat occurrences of the word currently being queried. Typically you'd use this with a jargon word or a proper noun. Are you saying it continues picking on repeats of the suspected word?

If you want to stop spell checking then click on "Stop", or "Send".
