What is the correct way to attach another message to a new message as an .eml attachment?

At times, this would be very useful. I have received messages from others like this. In Outlook, there is an option like this, but I don't find it in Thunderbird. It is probably right in front of me, but as usual I cant find the forest. Yes, I can forward a message as an eml attachment, save it as eml, etc. etc. What escapes me is how to for example: Reply to a message from Bob and include a message from Mary as an eml attachment. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. system version: 45.2.0

Chosen solution

No, it's one of those clever things which is supposed to be intuitive.

You can add any file as an attachment by drag and drop. The trick is to drop it onto the box at the top where you enter the addresses, not into the message text area as you do with other email clients.

You can also do this with other email messages.

Many thanks Zenos. That works perfectly. Like I said, 'couldn't find the forest'.
