How to update a password stored in Thunderbird: In Thunderbird Via 'Menu Bar':

  • 'Tools' > Options' > 'Security' > 'Passwords' tab

OR via 'Mail Toolbar':

  • 'Menu icon' > 'Options' >'Options' > 'Security' > 'Passwords' tab
  • click on 'Saved Passwords'
  • clickon 'Show Passwords'

You will find it in two places as you have mailbox or imap and also smtp.
