how do I get rid of a download?

I downloaded ONLINE MAP FINDER yesterday and GOOGLE CHROME took over my browser. I deleted GOOGLE CHROME but cannot get rid of the ONLINE MAP FINDER which has taken over my home page. PLEASE help me with this. I am very frustrated!!
