How do I cancel Google+ on Firefox? Did NOT want it!!

I am using WATERFOX. I was trying to do a screen print on another website for a technical problem I was dealing with. This was my first attempt in doing the screen print and I wanted to just send it to my biz email so I could forward it to the appropriate techs. However, I found out that I did it wrong and I now seem to be "sharing" everything with people in my "Google+ circle" (which I did not know I have nor do I WANT). It is totally unacceptable at my workplace to have anything openly viewed by others outside the biz! HELP!!!!!!!!!!! All I want to do is Disable the "Google+" on my Firefox account, which is tied to my biz email. (I would also like to delete the people who are in my Google+ circle as i did not authorize that either.)

Hi Lynette, did you use the "Share This Page" feature?

In that case, you can remove the connection between Firefox and Google+ on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Services. Then on the right side, find Google+ and click Remove.

Does that fix it?

Normally you wouldn't have anyone in your circles unless you added them, but other people could have put you in their circles. It's a strange system.

Anyway, they have changed Google+ since the last time I looked at it (a couple years ago?), so I'm not sure how to remove people. Hopefully you can find the answers in Google's help pages.
