Hi I'm having issues sending out emails to one new client - all my other outgoing emails are working fine. I have tried 2 of his company emails but getting the same error warning (see attached). I've tried from both my work emails via thunderbird but same problem with each Any ideas? Thanks Lang

Error 5.1.1 = user unknown a server respond when it cant find the user. Either you have misspelled something or the recipient doesn't have that email any more. (my mistake is usually writing .com when it is .net)

Hi. thanks for that but no, defintiely the correct email address. They're having no issues receiving incoming from elsewhere, and I have not ecperienced this in my thunderbird before.

As this is a server reply its not likely a Thunderbird issue. How about sending using Web-mail as a test. Second is trying with a different mail-service-provider. (I did send a test-mail to info..... and didn't get it back. Using TB 45.1.1 and gmail)

Hi thanks for the update. Yes, I also sent an email from my webmail service with no bounce back or alert/warning. I'll have to try from elsewhere then and see if it works. I do have a hotmail account I could try from Will keep you posted
