The old version of firefox have some security issues,so keeping them updated is good first thing. However If you want to uninstall it from your system then I think Revo uninstaller will help you .

Please do not use 3rd party removers.

Uninstall Firefox from your computer {web link}
DO NOT remove your profiles. After, reboot the computer.
