I want to edit the message that I receive before printing

I am new to Thunderbird. I have been using Eudora for so long and since it does'nt display chinese characters I would like to switch to Thunderbird. Eudora allows me to edit the incoming messages and print after that. I sometimes alter the message content, like delete portion of it or change the font before I print but this option is not available in Thunderbird. I use the latest version of Thunderbird which is version 45. I have tried browsing and installed few add-ons to allow me to do this job. But unfortunately I am not able to solve the issue. It would be great of any one of you could help me.

I'd suggest, having selected the original message, you use the "Edit as New" feature. You can right-click the message then select Edit As New Message, or use Message|Edit As New in the main menu, or [≡]Message|Edit As New Message in the Application menu

This will open it in the compose window, where you can definitely edit it and I think you can print it. But it isn't totally wysiwyg.
