The failure to resume downloads is a problem. This happens to me also. Why can't you install Downthemall ? There are other download managers at the '''[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ Mozilla Add-ons Web Page]''' {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) Just search for what you want. There is also the [http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ Free Download Manager.] This runs independent from the browsers. The browsers tell the manager what to download, and that's it. You can close the browsers during the downloads.
