Firefox has completed destroyed me. It's my own fault, but I'm completely screwed

I had the audacity -- the horrible, wicked AUDACITY -- to not correctly remember the password I used that contains the keys to my entire life: over 80 different saved passwords stored in the sync. And upon failing like the wretched, miserable man I am, Firefox has chosen to deliver harsh and swift punishment to me in the former of NEVER ALLOWING ME TO RETRIEVE IT VIA EMAIL.

I'm completely locked out. Because of my extremist 3x failure to recall my password, I am now permanently stuck at "exceeded attempts" EVEN WHEN TRYING TO GET A FORGOT MY PASSWORD EMAIL.

I've waited 2 hours. Tried it. Nope. Waited another 2 hours. Tried it. Nope.

It's my own fault for actually trusting in Firefox. I should've had a safe file before I formatted. I foolishly thought Firefox was better than this. Now I'm pretty much locked out until Firefox decides to grant mercy upon me.

Firefox is a free software. It's my own fault for putting myself in a position where I'm literally helpless and at the MERCY of a fucking browser.

IT TAKES A DAY OR 2 SIMPLY BECAUSE I MADE A MISTAKE 3 TIMES????

What kind of harebrained, unbelievable bout of idiocy decided to make this a policy?

"Sorry. You made 3 mistakes in a row. We're closed until next week."

What in the seven glorious continents of FUCK went into the brain of whoever conceived this inconceivable act of stupidity! Oh my God that's absurd!

this is not the normal operating procedure, but necessary at the moment due to special circumstances. sorry for the temporary inconvenience!

It's not your fault. But appreciate the sentiments very much :D

Is there a way of knowing approx how long it'll take?

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
