Reinstalling firefox didn't solve the problems of bad css, not getting add ons and I still can't watch any videos

I thought a re-installation will gave me a new clean working Firefox. For my surprise I found the same problems: don't load well web pages; when I want to see youtube or other videos, they just don't load. If I want add ons, they can't be downloaded or installed, I only see error messages and "Try again" (useless). After uninstalling I have deleted the Mozilla folders in "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local" and "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming".

I am really tired of installing and reinstalling FireFox 45.0.1. This doesn't fix the problems of not being able of getting add ons and watching videos. I am using FireFox 46.0b8 but this didn't work neither, it met the same problems. This is frustrating.

Any help? I like FireFox. I don't really what else to try. I just want to install and use FireFox like the first time. It's a shame I can't use it anymore.

My FireFox 45.0.1 is working again! Thank you. It's good to know this browser has such collaborative people! =) You played an excellent psychological role in helping me to find the solution.

Could you break down the problem loading pages in a little more detail. For example, do CSS issues tend to arise on HTTPS pages, but HTTP pages are okay? Does Firefox report any certificate errors on HTTPS sites?

You could compare this page on HTTP and HTTPS:

Thank you for your reply.

With the second web address I got:

"Your connection is not secure

The owner of www.jeffersonscher.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website."

So I looks the HTTPS has problems. But I don't understand why uninstalling and installing again isn't working.

HTTP was fine. But HTTPS doesn't open. Here there are some images of my problems with Firefox. The youtube video can be displayed in Chrome but not in FireFox. I can't install anything in the add ons: the downloading fails.

So on my site when you get the error page, try this:

Expand the "Advanced" button and look for an Add Exception button.

Note: You don't need to complete the process of adding an exception -- I suggest not adding one until we know this isn't a malware issue -- but you can use the dialog to view the information that makes Firefox suspicious.

Click Add Exception, and the certificate exception dialog should open.

Click the View button. If View is not enabled, try the Get Certificate button first.

This should pop up the Certificate Viewer. Look at the "Issued by" section, and on the Details tab, the Certificate Hierarchy. What do you see there? I have attached a screen shot for comparison.

The suspense is killing me. What was the problem?

Sorry for the delay. The problem was the antivirus interfering with FireFox. This problem is discussed with solutions in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

Your HTTP and HTTPS web pages were key. I couldn't access the HTTPS page. The HTTP web page was fine, displaying everything normal. So HTTP pages were ok. But HTTPS sites had problems. This was very strange. I never suspected of the antivirus.
