Can I set outgoing mail to HTML text
Just starting with Thunderbird and it seems like there is no way to control outgoing emails and make sure that it is sent in RichText or HTML. Is there a access to settings that I am missing?
Chosen solution
Right click the account on the left in the Folder Pane and select Settings. Then Composition and Addressing The first option is to use HTML. You have to set this for each account if you have more than one.
You can toggle between text and HTML by holding the Shift key when clicking on Write.

Does this work with forwarding mail? My defaults are to receive HTML and to send in text. So if i want to forward an HTML message, I have to go through changing my composition default in options, send, then change it back -- a major inconvenience.
