I deleted my account by accident, created new account and now lost all emails I had saved in folders.

I have tried solutions found by Googling relating to profiles etc. but cannot find if or where all the saved messages are stored. I don't see them in app data for Thunderbird. Does anyone have suggestions to restore all messages I had stored in folders, which I believe were local folders. They should still be somewhere on my computer, but I can't find them to try and import.
