how do I get ff to automatically refresh website when I open them?

I manage a website and when I update it and then open the website in ff it is the old version until I either clear cache or refresh. In IE you can select an option where websites are refreshed when you open them, can I do this in ff

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

I assume that you are looking for the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency pref:

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
