Thunderbird will not recognize my godaddy email password with SSL, but does with "normal password".
Thunderbird would not check or send mail. I kept having to retype my password. My godaddy webmail and iphone works. This started a few days ago with the thunderbird security update. I had to delete and add my account with SSL off which I do not like doing.

We have been having the same errors in my office, 30 computers or so. The few with outlook work fine.
I tried removing the ssl security a little while ago on a few computers and it seems to be working, however I do not like having zero security. Would be nice if Mozilla addressed this issue. (Or if godaddy updated their servers to be more future compatible). Whichever it is.

This issue seemed to resolve itself. Not sure why, but all is okay now.
I am still having this problem for outgoing emails. I had to turn off SSL.
