Everything in the browser window freezes while this spinning "google chrome" image goes on and then stops. How do I turn that off?? I can click outside the browser window and I get the "arrow", but when I mouse over my yahoo mail window it stops and freezes and I get the spinning thing. Like it just did it right now and I couldn't finish typing until it stopped.

Chosen solution

When you see something like that, it means the program is non-responsive. In other words, locked.

What is the web address where this happens? Are there others also?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Problem "appears" resolved at this time. If that changes at least I know where to go and try again, or read the other information.
