Firefox suddenly stop accepting cursor clicks, text or URL entries. I can't use the menu items in the menu bar of the browser window. I can't get the pages to scroll. I have downloaded the App a couple of times but no change. I threw out my profile but the newly downloaded apps asked for it, so I returned it to my profile. Specifically are there some preferences I should throw out?

How do I start completely over with Firefox?

Solved this problem with the following. Working on a Mac, I went to Time Machine and restored my Profile to Library. Whatever was corrupted was in the replaced Profile, because Firefox went back to its old self.
