Options is for the Windows platform. On Linux you can find the Options/Preferences under "Edit > Preferences" You can also open the about:preferences page via the location/address bar or by using a bookmark to open a specific tab.

On the Linux Ubuntu operating system, you can access the options in Firefox, three different ways:

  1. By clicking the three bar button on the right hand side of the toolbar and then clicking the options button (you may need to click customize to drag and drop the options button into the menu)
  2. By clicking Preferences in the Edit section of the menu bar
  3. By typing about:preferences in the location bar
