No calendar appears now or in the files attached to Thunderbird. I have tried reinstalling Lightening but I can't do that either!

Hi Matt, see below

As you can see - lightening is listed as an add-on but I have downloaded it this morning. McaAfee antivirus and firewall software

Telstra (Bigpond) are my internet providers

No error message - just opened Thunderbird today after updating the version when prompted yesterday and the calendar wasn't there. I have tried to see if I could open a view but no options are given. The crash report listed below happened this morning after I had Thunderbird open a while and tried to reopen Thunderbird after trying to install lightening again. I've done that but still no lightening appears. Regards,

First and foremost disable any rubbish installed into thunderbird by McAfee. They have been issuing Thunderbird crippling software for years. It is almost as if ther actions are deliberate the issues are so many over such a long period.

The crash that occurred on shutdown on the 4th was also probably the result of McAfee. but not necessarily the add-on. Their entire anti virus causes trouble.

Note that I am only seeing ImportExporttools Lightning tabs McAfee Anti-Spam

Did the forum cut off the rest? Because I see no lightning.

Thanks Matt,

I disabled McAfee, loaded Lightening and my calendar reappeared once I restarted it!

Won't be enabling mcAfee again and will reconsider it as my antivirus program.
