Cookies are stored in your Firefox profile as cookies.sqlite and other associated files.

Thank you for your reply, it is appreciated. I know that the cookies are stored as cookies.sqlite, what I don't know is the "filepath"(?) to tell WinPatrol how to look for them there. Whet the heck is a "filepath" anyway?

The filepath is how to program finds the folder containing the file.

For example, if you are looking for an address in Toronto, Canada, you would first look in the Canada folder, then move to the Ontario folder and the address would be in the Toronto folder.

I have never used WinPatrol, but I would assume that you would give it the file path to your profile folder. If you open the profile folder, via the steps in my previous link, simply copy the filepath in the address bar on the Windows explorer.

Just out of curiosity, are you using WinPatrol to delete all cookies when you close Firefox? If you are interested, Firefox has a builtin feature that does this without a third party program required.

If you want to do this, the setting can be located in the Options dialog, under the Privacy tab. It can be located if you select to use custom history settings.

You can let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies.

• Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"

Create a cookie 'allow' exception for cookies that you want to keep.

• Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions
