hi, in the last week my thunderbird has been unable to send messages to any hotmail account. these come back with the same error message. previous to this week, never had a problem. Can anyone help?

The reason for the problem: 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-"SC-004 (COL004-MC2F15) Unfortunately, messages from 203.59.1.106 weren't sent. We recommend that you contact your Internet service provider. The problem is that too many unwanted messages have been sent from the following IP address above. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors."

Have you asked your ISP about it, as suggested? It sounds like the IP address they have given you is on a blacklist. Only they, the owners of the IP address, can work with the blacklist operators to remove it.
