Can I copy my profile from one copy of Firefox to another?
I have Firefox 42 perfectly configured on one Windows 10 computer. The other installation is a mess. It's on a different Windows 10 computer. My user names and directories are identical on each. I don't want to debug ALL the symptoms I now have. It would be wonderful if I could completely uninstall the evil installation and reinstall Firefox 42 fresh. Then before I run it, copy my profile from the good computer onto the profile on the newly installed version.
Will this work? Is there anything I need to know in order to accomplish this?
(I know you're thinking this guy just needs a little hand-holding to clear up his problems normally. Believe me, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox four times in the last five days. Right now my location bar isn't displayed, my bookmarks toolbar is blank, my back and forward buttons are dimmed out and don't function, and if I ever fix those I'll have to then rediscover all the problems I've been living with just since upgrading to 42.)
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Copy the "good" profile to a thumb drive "as is." Then copy from the thumb to the profile folder on the bad. You can use the Profile Manager to access the "good" profile.

Thank you. This solved my problem. It was easy!
One caution: clear the cache of the "good" profile before copying it. The copy dropped from 300+ MB to a few K.
Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
