When ever I browse anything or click on any link , it opens into a pop up and on closing the pop up a new tab opens with some spam site. Can someone help?

adding to what i asked , this problem is there for all browsers in my computer
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
