cant find options or a orange button

cant find options or a orange button

Chosen solution

Options is used on the Windows platform. On Linux it is named Preferences.

Note that Ubuntu 11.xx and later displays window menus in the control bar at the top of the screen with the switch to the Unity window manager.

You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar.

You can use one of these to set which toolbars to show.

  • "3-bar" menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
  • View > Toolbars
You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
  • Right-click empty toolbar area

For reasons known to no one, it was removed. Look for an icon of three horizontal lines.

Type about:preferences<enter> in the address bar.

Many of us are using; Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) {web link} Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).

This will restore many of the things the last upgrades took away.
