Need to read copies of e-mails (in msf format) that were produced in discovery.

I am an expert witness and have been given a several 'e-mail files' to examin. Half are in '.msf' format and the others appear to be large backup files of e-mails. I can open the backup file in Notepad, but it is tedious to wade through all of the housekeeping to get to the message.

Is there a good way to open either or both of these files?

Chosen solution

You can ignore the msf files (index files), but the other files (same name as the msf file but no extension) are probably mbox files. Import them to TB with ImportExportTools. (How to install).

Create a folder under Local Folders, then Tools/ImportExportTools/Import mbox file.
