Firefox won't start, Profile Manager not available

Firefox worked, then when updated it won't start. I have tried all the fixes; however, the Profile Manager is not accessible or even present in the execute file. I've unintalled and reinstalled numerous times, but I still can't get it to work. There is no Firewall block from Windows or Norton so I don't understand. What can I do? I want to use Firefox because it's the best browser; but now I'm being forced to use Oscar. It's not terrible but I prefer the features I had with Firefox

I had updated to the latest version; but thought downgrading to the version that worked perfectly would help. In the end, I had to defrag, do a Registry clean and a PC Performance optimization, but for the upgrade kicked it. So I'm happy to say that I am replying to this post using my Firefox browser. Thank you so much for your assistance. Hopefully, I won't have anymore problems. DoubleD52

Can you attach a screenshot?

The System Detail list shows that you run an older Firefox version that is no longer supported with security updates.

  • It is important to update Firefox and add-ons to the latest versions to get all security fixes.

Please update to the current Firefox 41.0.1 release.
