Hello you,

I use Firefox on a computer which have few ram. So, when I open many tabs in Firefox (to read each one by one and close each just after reading, this is one of my way of use Firefox), my ram is rapidly full. In this context, my question is :

How I can do to don't preload tabs in Firefox ?

I don't talk about newtab which is configure with browser.newtab.preload. Is a sort of browser.tab.preload exist ? Or an add-on ? My search was unanswered.

Thx

See "Prefetching": https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-stop-firefox-making-automatic-connections

Possibly:

  • network.http.speculative-parallel-limit = 0

This will delay any players on those pages until you want to play them.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
