Hi,

I am a long time user of Thunderbird and it has generally made me happy. However, when I downloaded the latest release the program would not display properly, and sometimes not at all as shown in the attached photo.

This was a similar problem that I had earlier this year with Firefox, and the culprit was the older version of WindowBlinds (version 7) that I was using. However, WindowsBlinds is fully updated, and these problems are occurring only in Thunderbird. When i turn off WB the program runs normally. As a side note, Firefox is currently unaffected.

Has anyone else run into this problem? And if you have, what can I do to solve it? I really do not want to stop using WB since I love being able to customize windows. Thanks for any response.

Note: I have also contacted Stardock Corporation about this issue as well, and am currently waiting for a response.

Ok, this is weird, but I seemed to have answered my own question.

There is a workaround...One has to exclude Thunderbird from being skinned. This is found in WB under settings -> per application. Once that is in place one can run Thunderbird flawlessly.

I am not sure why this is an issue, but at least I can use the program again.

Thanks anyway.
