Until recently emails were downloaded automatically every 5 minutes. Suddenly they no longer appear unless I manually click on 'get messages' Can anyone help me please?

It has been reported elsewhere that after the TB 38.2.0 update, new mail polling seems to be disabled after resuming from Windows sleep/hibernate. Works again after restarting Thunderbird.
