I closed my browser and then when I re-opened I had previously used "restore previous session" to take me back to tabs I had left open but today, I closed my browser and when i went to restore previous session, the option had disappeared from view on my Mozilla home page.

How do I get that option back onto my home page pls? I restored to default setting but this did not help

I need simple instructions pls if you can help. thanks! regards, CapnJac

Hi :) After searching for a while i found the solution to your problem. This will hopefully re-add the "restore previous session" option.

1) Open a new window

2) Type about:config into the address box and hit Enter. You will be provided with a notice, read it and click the button to proceed.

3) There will be a search box there. Copy and paste this : browser.sessionstore.enabled and hit enter.

4) You Shouldn't see any results, if you do, something else is probably the problem.

5) Right-click the settings list and choose New then Boolean.

6) Paste this into the box provided and click OK: browser.sessionstore.enabled

7) Set the Boolean value to True and click OK.

8) Restart Firefox and the option should be there.

Hopefully this worked :)
