Thunderbird. I have two comcast email accounts and one gmail account. A while ago I was asked to change my google password. Later, I noticed that when I went to Thunderbird, I was asked to enter my gail email password. Wouldn't take. If I deleted it, could receive gmail, but not send. Also not update my address book from gmail. No problems with comcast emails. Then learned about security option to delete passwords. Four lines were for comcast mail boxs and smlps. Only two other lines listed. Chrome:gmcont//jam... and imap://.imap.google.... so I deleted and when asked for password put in the new google password with saved password checked. Nothing has changed. The passwords are all identical to the google password.

Using the google contacts add-on? it has not been updated to the new Google oauth2 login. Replace it with gcontact cync https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync/
