Unable to bookmark on firefox; have tried troubleshooting & uninstalled.

For the last week, I have been unable to save a bookmark and all my old bookmarks (I had plenty) have just disappeared. I have gone through the "help" articles and uninstall & reinstall Firefox. What do I try next?

For the last week, I have been unable to save a bookmark and all my old bookmarks (I had plenty) have just disappeared. I have gone through the "help" articles and uninstall & reinstall Firefox. What do I try next?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
