After a firefox update the new private window doesn't work and program locks up.

After the last two updates the new private window doesn't work and when I shutdown the program and try to restart it will not open. The only way I can fix this is to uninstall and reinstall Firefox but when I go to uninstall Firefox a pop up window states that Firefox is running so I have to shutdown and restart and then uninstall and then reinstall.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
