The folder 'Inbox' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disc space, and that you have write privileges...

The compacting issue only cropped up recently. I suspect it is more a disc space issue than a write privilege one. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest you free up disk space.

This might be https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1174485 which likely be at least a few months until it becomes available in a public release
