Firefox crashes constantly no matter what I am doing. As long as I am using the browser, it continues to crash. This morning in about an hour, it's crashed 20+ times. I uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla within the last couple weeks, however it has not helped. I tried starting in safe mode, and that didn't help either.

I had a computer guy for a company I work with look at it. He couldn't really figure it out and ended up taking off everything he could find associated with mozilla and then reinstalling it. seems like it worked. haven't had a crash for an hour now.

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

The people at (Mozilla) Firefox will never admit the fault and expects everyone to 'know' how to fix the problems associated with this browser. Therefore it is not their fault but your's as a user. As far as I know it's been a problem ever since I started using this about 8 years ago. I cannot recall myself ever needed to 'self-maintenance' when using any other browser. This is ridiculous and a joke. I'm still using IE but occasionally will open FF for certain purposes and every time it's been a drag, even though I have the latest 38.0.5 version (June 2015) and all the latest Adobe Flash, Shockwave, etc...,etc...,etc...,etc...,etc...add-ons galore like bumper stickers on my car.

To be honest, Internet Explorer is a much better browser and breeze to use. Never crash nor needed me to Google for help - for installing/uninstalling/updating add-ons, ever! There are no cures for this browser unless a new platform is developed and introduced by an entirely different breed.
