Chosen solution

To sort by First name: View > Show name as: 'First, Last

To sort by Surname: View > Show name as: 'Last, First

View > Sort by > Name and ascending

In your case set the 'Show name as to 'First, Last then set the Sort by to Name and ascending

Love your name!

And your answer was perfect and I feel kind of stupid. I had looked at that several times and all I saw was sort last name, first name. This time I saw first name last name and new immediately that it was my reading. You must have been chuckling the whole time you were typing!

And thanks.

Glad to help and good to hear all is sorted ok. But like all things, it always seems easy when you know how to do things in the right order.
