Google's main website comes up as an "Untrusted Connection" no matter how I try to get there. I need Firefox to allow me to use https://www.google.com again!

Simple put, I cannot use Google as a search engine and would like to again. It's set as my home page and use it frequently in my job as an editor.

The problem seemed to start last week. I did notice an alert that an updated version of Firefox was available, but didn't click to update yet. Additionally, I recently updated my Kaspersky Antivirus Software (not sure this has any bearing).

Thank you in advance for looking into this problem. I have been a long-time Firefox user and supporter, and am looking forward to seeing how this can be remedied!

Are you using the SSL Scan feature of your Kaspersky software? This involves Kaspersky intercepting your web traffic and presenting Firefox with a "fake" certificate so it can read your communications with secure websites. This likely would cause issues on many secure sites, including this one, so if the issue is unique to Google, then you might already be set up for the Kaspersky feature. But you could test with SSL Scan disabled to see whether that makes any difference.
