How do I know if I am on esr?
The about dialog shows "38.0.1" before it was always something like "3x.x.xesr" (if I remember correct). So how can I check that I am still on the esr branch?
Thanks

Hi, The thing is that after an update to 38.0.1 on a Mac the menu entries in "Firefox" where gone. There was only the "Quit" entry left.
And in the Menu -> Questionmark menu there is no "About Firefox" any longer.
After a restart of firefox the "Firefox" menu was there again.
I used the "about:" entry in the URL field which reveals the version, BUT it shows for esr and the normal version the same info.

You should see the update channel in "Firefox > About" and on the troubleshooting information page (Help > Troubleshooting Information).

Doesn't this window show the update channel like you see in my screenshot?
You are currently on the esr update channel
This line should be present if you are not on the release update channel.
Can you attach a screenshot to show me what you see on Mac (I'm on Linux)?

- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
