The buttons for the different panels should appear on the left side of the page. (As in the attached screen shot.) They are missing on your Firefox?

Or is the problem that once this page loads, you can't access the tab you were previously viewing in that same window? I'm not sure how you have disabled tabs, but the keyboard shortcut to close the current tab is Ctrl+w and that might still work for you.

I'm using the "Hide Tab Bar with One Tab" add-on so that I can use Firefox without tabbed browsing - which I can't get used to. The new update to the options screen does show the options down the left hand side but none of them can be accessed. If I want to make any changes in the options screen it looks like I'll have to return to tabbed browsing!

Experimental Features

I don't want to blame that extension unfairly, particularly because the left side buttons navigate within the page and do not open new tabs...

Could you try disabling it and see whether the Options page works? If it still doesn't work, then we could focus on whether another extension could be affecting it, or whether it's a glitch with a setting, etc.

You probably know, but just for quick reference, you can open the Add-ons page using either:

• Ctrl+Shift+a
• "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then you can Enable/Disable extensions on the right side. (The disabled extensions cluster at the bottom of the list.)

I've found the problem, it's the theme I'm using. I've switched to a different one and everything is working again. Thanks for the quick replies and suggestions which gave me the idea that it must be the theme, as disabling other add-ons didn't help
