Firefox launches directly into "Mozilla crash reporter".

Have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Running Windows XP SP3, Problem came up out of nowhere. Have had no problems with Firefox up to this morning.

Followed procedure to obtain crash report in Windows Start window, file is not found.

Have you tried to follow those steps? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help

Remember that Windows XP was discontinued by Microsoft, so there is no guarantee that any software will run well. So Mozilla developers do not program the Firefox to run on Windows XP, only from the Seven. Many companies no longer develop more software to run on XP.
