Is a download of McAfee a part of the Mozilla Firefox download?

Pretty quickly after downloading Mozill, an icon for McAfee appeared on my homepage and in my hard drive program files. I attempted to uninstall this since I saw nothing about this when I downloaded program. A window appeared asking me for my social security number along with a box asking that I allow a new program to be installed. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Did you download Firefox from www.mozilla.org? If you downloaded it from anywhere else there is a possibility that you were infected by malware.
