I archived my emails from within Gmail. This does not seem to be reflected in Thunderbird though, which is still showing all the emails that I had archived. Any ideas?

if you archived all of them and that is a large number the update will possibly take a long time.

After all. In Google all that happens in all tags are removed from mail and it only appears in ALL mail.
